Needing Extra Care
Seniors. For those needing companionship or assistance with activities for daily living (see our list of services). As requested, we provide regular communication with family members ensuring the safety and well-being of their loved ones. We also offer respite care hours for those family caregivers needing a little time off.
New and expectant mothers. We can provide you with a few hours of rest, personal care and help with housekeeping chores.
Those recovering from illness or surgery. During recovery, our caregivers help patients with activities of daily living while ensuring that all doctors’ recommendations and prescribed protocols are followed.
Those requiring orthopedic care. Recovering from orthopedic surgery often entails months of extremely limited mobility and constant care. ABC caregivers enable patients to stay at home rather than at a rehabilitation center. We can provide assistance with prescribed range of motion exercises to help regain mobility.
Those undergoing cancer treatment and recovery. ABC caregivers are trained not only to provide for a person’s physical well-being but also his/her spiritual.
The lonely. We provide companionship and activities to relieve boredom, anxiety and depression. From one hour care to full care assistance.
Those in the hospital. Do you have a loved one who is hospitalized, or are you a physician or hospital professional with a special patient who needs round-the-clock monitoring?
Those who can’t drive. We’ll provide transportation to doctors’ appointments, physical therapy, run errands, or take them to their favorite activities.
Family caregivers. Take a break for the sake of your own health and well-being. Let ABC provide some needed respite care even if it’s for an hour during the day
